Data Governance Assessment

Data governance is the foundation of effective AI systems in healthcare and veterinary medicine. From patient privacy and compliance to data quality and interoperability, how your organisation manages data directly impacts clinical outcomes, operational efficiency, and regulatory standing. This assessment evaluates your data governance maturity across six critical dimensions: data classification and inventory, access control and security, data quality and validation, data lineage and documentation, retention and lifecycle management, and privacy and compliance.

Developed in collaboration with healthcare data governance leaders and compliance specialists, this diagnostic identifies gaps in your data management infrastructure and provides tailored recommendations for strengthening governance at your organisation's current maturity level. Whether you're centralising data for the first time or optimising an existing enterprise data platform, this assessment clarifies priorities and investment areas.

The assessment takes approximately 10-15 minutes and will place your organisation in one of four data governance tiers: Ad Hoc, Developing, Managed, or Optimized. Your results will include tier-specific guidance, implementation roadmap recommendations, and next steps for advancing your data governance capability.
